Converting presets allows you to take any design and convert it to a different preset. The AI completely rewrites your code to match the new preset’s conventions while keeping the same views and functionality. This is helpful when you want to:
  • Switch design systems if you have multiple
  • Migrate to a custom preset you’ve created
  • Adapt a design to match your team’s preferred preset

How to Convert a Design’s Preset

Converting presets flow

Open the design you want to change

Navigate to the design you want to change the preset for in the editor.

Click the Convert button

Click the Convert button in the top bar of the editor (this opens the converting presets dialog).

Choose your target preset

Select the preset you want to change to from the dropdown menu.

Watch the conversion

A new design will be generated in a separate tab with your design migrated to the new preset.
