Magic Patterns supports importing in your product’s custom branding and design system. This way, you can generate designs that automatically adhere to your existing guidelines and theme.

Creating a Library

A library is a collection of components. Components that should be used together should be put in the same library.

You can create a new library in the Library dropdown in the “Component” tab.

Creating a New Component

Just like how you’d create a normal design in Magic Patterns, you can prompt your component to life via plain text or with images.

We recommend being specific and using screenshots as references when possible for the best results.

Once you’ve created a component, you can make updates and publish new versions.

Using your Library

In order to use your library’s components by default, you can link your library to a Preset — Learn more about Presets here.

Whenever you generate a new design using a preset connected to a library, Magic Patterns will try to use components from that library whenever possible.

Any updates in this design will also try to use components.

Using Components in Existing designs

You can also freely use components in other designs not connected to a Preset by referencing them in your prompt.

If you type @, this will also trigger the Components selector to come up.
